ASUS Eee PC 1005HA (Seashell)

n the past few months once heavily ASUS Eee products issued its Series, this year alone ASUS has issued a total of 20 models in the line of Eee products Series but not all the Eee series products into Indonesia. Recently, ASUS has just put out the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA which the design is similar to the ASUS Eee PC 1008HA is also using Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP OS, and the hard disk of 160GB.


Design
1005HA is the ASUS Eee line of Sea Shell Series which we know peroduk in this range has a stylis design and slim size. Part 1005HA corners look rounded and not sharp like other netnook design. 1005HA is available in several colors like black, blue, pink, and white. 1005HA looks shiny surface that easily if exposed to dirty your fingerprints.
1005HA comes with dimensions of 10.2 x 6.9 x 1.4 inches and weighs 2.8-pounds. 1005HA size 0.6 pounds heavier than 1008HA released several months ago.

Port
On the left side USB port 1005HA and there. VGA port. On the right side there are 1005HA card reader 3-in-1, Ethernet port, two USB ports (total of 3 USB ports), the hole headphones and a microphone jack.

Keyboard and Touchpad
1005HA has a keyboard that is as good as 1008HA. keyboard buttons look great, so easy and convenient when used in a long time though. Keys felt responsive when we use and we do not have a problem with the keyboard.

At the bottom of the touchpad keyboard size is 2.5 x 1.5-inches which equals ukuranya touchpad 1008HA. Just like any other netbook touchpad, touchpad 1005HA also supports multitouch gesture, with a multitouch you can use your two fingers to zoom-in on the photo gallery or Internet Explorer browser. Under the touchpad buttons are useful to replace the mouse button.


Screen, Audio, and Webcam
1005HA is equipped with a screen measuring 10.1-inch resolution 1024 x 600-pixel. The screen is equipped with LED backlight technology that makes the screen bright and clear. We do not have significant problems when viewing the screen at certain angles, the screen looks good when we look at the 45-degree angle from the right and left.

There is a webcam above the screen 1.3-megapixel resolution that can be used well.

Performance
1005HA using 1.66-GHz processor Intel Atom N280, 1GB of RAM, OS Windows XP. 1005HA look the same specifications with specifications 1000HE and 1008HA. In the overall test performance, 1005HA score 1.564 points in the PCMark05 test where the value obtained by 179 points below the 1005HA netbook value of the average class. However to do multitasking like working on the document files, browsing, and make video calls via Skype, 1005HA does not have a problem.


1005HA uses graphics card Intel GMA 950 with 128MB chip combination that scored 124 points in 3DMark06 test. 1005HA graphics card score 41 points greater than the value of netbook class graphics card. We do not have problems playing videos saar 720p HD resolution.

1005HA using the 5900 mAh battery capacity. At trial LAPTOP Battery Test, which we did test browsing via Wi-Fi battery can last up to 8 hours 57 minutes. 1005HA battery endurance classified as very good when compared with the battery netbook class.

Equipped with software 1005HA Eee Docking bar, it's like the Apple Dock where there are icons at the top of the screen. An icon on the top of the screen you can use as a shortcut to access the menu you want. You can customize the Eee Docking software by drag and drop menu that you want.

In addition 1005HA is also equipped with a good vibe button to access the multimedia menu located on the 1005HA. ASUS also includes software free trial for 60 days, such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Works, and Skype

If you feel the performance was slow 1005HA you can add 2GB of RAM. For your hard disk can not upgrade but ASUS provides online services for 10GB hard drive.

ASUS 1005HA issued in several price options, the most expensive selling for less than 4-million dollars to the specifications such as processor 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270, camera 0.3-MP webcam, there is no Bluetooth, and there is no hard drive online.
